The South African Review of Sociology (SARS) is the official journal of the South African Sociological Association. Copyright of all published material is vested in the South African Sociological Association.  However, authors bear full responsibility for the factual correctness of their own contributions.  All opinions expressed in the contributions are those of the authors, and are not necessarily subscribed to by the Editorial Committee or SASA.

Up until 2009, the journal was published twice annually by Forum Press. From 2010 - 2014, it published three issues per year, and since 2016, it publishes 4 issues annually.  SARS is published by Routledge/Taylor & Francis. The SARS page on the Taylor & Francis website can be accessed at this link. Unisa Press represents the publisher in the Southern African region. Individual articles from earlier editions may be downloaded via Ebscohost. Articles of later editions may also be purchased directly from Routledge.
